In this lecture, we cover some practical examples of using the advanced prompting technique of ethical considerations.
We look at examples of creating ethical prompts when working with AI to generate content related to sensitive topics, such as mental health. By explicitly addressing the need for sensitivity and content warnings in the prompts, and suggesting appropriate resources, the AI can be encouraged to produce content that prioritises emotional safety and provides a more compassionate and responsible approach to potentially triggering subjects.
However, we also show that while this approach can help align the AI-generated content with the desired outcome, it is still crucial for users to exercise their own judgment when reviewing the produced content.
